Manifest The Buzz

Let’s talk about addiction, specifically food addiction. There’s a cycle to addiction and depending on what you’re addicted to the stages might vary, but basically there is the need, desire or craving for The addictive substance- in our case that’s food. Then the struggle to try not to feed the addiction which we usually lose and give in to the urges. Now when we are eating we feel good, kind of like a high or buzz. Tasting the flavors, the sensation of chewing and the joy of a full belly when done. Unfortunately, that joy is short-lived and soon turns into sadness, anger, and frustration. Just to do it all over again! It becomes a never-ending cycle all for that brief moment of joy/buzz. Would you believe it if I told you you can get an even greater buzz and even longer lasting high (so to speak) from not eating. By practicing a fasting focused lifestyle I have discovered the most wonderful feeling… I call it the BUZZ because the happiness, clarity of mind and physical energy that comes from being fasted really feels like a high. Another great part of fasting is when I do finally break my fast and I eat I can enjoy the smell, the taste, and the full belly without guilt allowing the BUZZ to continue.
